Happy Noon Year!

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.
-Edith Lovejoy Pierce

This year, we decided to have a Happy Noon Year's Eve Party.
Our guests arrived at 11 am and we counted down to noon.

We had already taken down our Christmas decorations, but some celebratory decorations were needed.
So tinsel, streamers and ribbons hung from the ceiling

We set up our snacks.
It is the best kind of party--potluck!

Our friends arrived and we got busy making a time capsule.
Good times!
Then it was ten minutes to noon, so we got coats and boots on and grabbed our confetti--popcorn!

3...2...1...Happy Noon Year!

We went inside for a smorgasbord of food and started the New Year off with a mouth full of goodies.

Later, we brought out the cookie sheets and...

                                        went sledding!!

                                             Happy 2013!
